First weekend (first and second round games)
Thursday and Friday (first round games):
Games start around 9:15 AM (tip-off). It depends on where the first round sites are (what time zone) for how many games tip off, but it will be anywhere from 2 to 4 games tipping off anywhere from 9:15 to 9:30.
Right after the first set of 2 to 4 games will be another set of 4 games. These games will tip off somewhere around 11:45 AM.
For sites in the Pacific time zone (in 2006 there was 1 site, in 2007 there were 2 sites, in 2008 there was 1 site, in 2009 there was 1 site, and in 2010 there were 2 sites), each site will have a game tipping off around 2:00 PM. If there are no sites in the Pacific time zone, then there will be a break starting around 2:00 PM for a couple hours.
The evening set of games will tip off around 4:30 PM and there will always be 4 games tipping off around that time. The final set of 4 games will start around 7:00 PM.
Saturday (second round games):
There will be 1 game starting around 10:00 AM, then 2 games starting around 12:30 PM, then 3 games starting around 2:45 PM, then 2 games starting around 5:15 PM.
Sunday (second round games):
There will be 1 game starting around 9:15 AM, then 4 games starting around 11:45 AM, then 3 games starting around 3:00 PM.
Second Weekend (sweet 16 and elite 8 games)
Thursday and Friday (sweet 16 games)
There will be 4 games each evening. The first will start around 4:15 PM, then another around 4:30, another around 6:45, and the last around 7:00.
For Saturday (elite 8 games)
There will be 1 game at around 1:15 PM and another around 4:00 PM.
For Sunday (elite 8 games)
There will be 1 game at around 11:15 AM and another around 2:00 PM.
